Highland Shelter (1227 Montreal Ave.) Seats approximately 50 people. Boutiques have moved in, craft beer flows and homes are flipped regularly. The Children's Play Area is located on the North side of the park near the shelter area. Highland Park, a traditionally working-class neighborhood dominated by Latino families, has been upended by gentrification.
